Mendacity Lives
Crawling from the ashes of borrowed fables Her body constructed on gilded tables Make her fearful Put a tightrope in her hand
With her we will acquire treasure beyond measure Servitude and land Give her a womb to birth a child He will appear loving, meek and so mild
Her offspring will become king Claim he is one with his jealous mother Send your money to his brother While distant cousins they cried "Forget peace and give me a stone to fling" "Condemn not my pleasure on Sunday ," they sing "All others should die."
Mendacity lives, she is quick to point the finger Her one good deed faded fast But her lies they linger
